I have been modeling since my childhood. I am thankful to my father, who brought me to this beautiful hobby. He was managing a modeling club, where I came to the first models and later competitions. Everything started with paper models, which were easily available those times. That is where my way to modeling started. Around 1993 I bought my first building kit of a higher quality. That was when I found out, that modeling is beautiful, but also a very difficult hobby that requires precision. My first building kit was a US helicopter, but it didn’t end up well. The helicopter wasn’t pretty at all, but I was happy.

Later I started to model my first cars. I found guidance in magazines, later came the internet. My first model was circuit Porshe 911 Carrera GT 1 by Revell in scale 1:12. I managed to build it nicely and precisely. How did I get to that model? As it is said, there is a woman behind everything. Every woman likes nice cars and that was the case of my ex-girlfriend as well. She didn’t want me to build only army technology, so one day she bought me a beautiful Porshe for building. And since then modeling cars has been my thing. I am working on models of rallye cars only in scale 1:24. All together I made around 300 of them. I use internet portals to keep in touch with modelers from all around the world. I think my favourite ale Lancias. I like building models of Lancia 037 the most, and Stratos of course. In my opinion, those cars have their souls.
