The Acropolis Rally, which took place in Greece in the 1978 season, was, in addition to the round of the World Rally Championship, also a competition for the national championship. This race was absolutely won by Walter Röhrl with his co-driver Christian Geistdörfer in a Fiat 131 Abarth.
The highest placed Greek crew were Tasos “Siroco” Livieratos and Manólis Makrinos, who placed 6th. In the 1978 season, they competed in this composition in the All Greek Championship with the Lancia Stratos HF for 5 rounds. Thanks to his successes, “Siroco” became the absolute champion of Greece.
Rallye Acropolis, ktorá sa konala v Grécku v sezóne 1978, bola okrem kola Majstrovstiev sveta v rallye zároveň aj súťažou o národný šampionát. Tieto preteky vyhral Walter Röhrl a Christian Geistdörfer na automobile Fiat 131 Abarth. Najvyššie umiestnenou gréckou posádkou boli Tasos “Siroco” Livieratos a Manólis Makrinos, ktorí sa umiestnili na 6. mieste.
V sezóne 1978 súťažili v tomto zložení v celom gréckom šampionáte s Lanciou Stratos HF na 5 kôl. Vďaka úspechom sa stal “Siroco” absolútnym majstrom Grécka.
